GTA V Under The Bridge Locations And Completion Guide

Mastering aerial maneuvers in Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most exciting challenges for players seeking full completion of the game. Among these aviation tasks, locating and flying under all fifty bridges scattered across Los Santos and Blaine County requires exceptional control and patience. Whether you are aiming for the Close Shave trophy or simply filling out your stats, knowing how to navigate these structures efficiently is key to success.

Choosing the Right Aircraft for the Challenge

Selecting the appropriate vehicle makes a massive difference when attempting tight aerial passes under urban overpasses. Small, highly maneuverable helicopters like the Buzzard are widely recommended because their compact rotor blade footprint reduces collision risks in narrow spaces. Alternatively, light stunt planes offer superb low-speed stability when attempting long canal sequences across the city.

Navigating Key City and Rural Bridge Hotspots

The majority of the challenge bridges are concentrated within the flood control channels of South Los Santos and La Puerta. Players can clear several sequence targets in a single run by carefully following the main drainage canals from north to south. In contrast, rural structures like the high railway bridges in Raton Canyon present different challenges due to surrounding cliff faces and variable winds.

Essential Flight Tips and Rescue Saving Strategies

Before attempting narrow or low-clearance passes, utilizing the in-game quick-save mechanic on your phone is highly beneficial. This allows instant reloading if your aircraft suffers fatal rotor damage or plunges into water channels. Maintaining steady throttle adjustments and avoiding sudden joystick inputs ensures smooth trajectories through tight underpasses.

Unlocking Completion Rewards and Trophies

While clearing 25 bridges fulfills the requirement for 100% story completion, completing all 50 is required for dedicated achievements. Pairing these stunt runs alongside the 15 Knife Flight challenges grants players the coveted Close Shave achievement. Finishing this grueling checklist remains a proud badge of honor for veteran pilots exploring the world of San Andreas.
